How to change from r(c) to r(U) and why 1/r(U) versus U ?

If you start from the material balance of a reactor and substitute the concentration variable c by the conversion U you get a solution for the 'reaction time' = 'space time' (in the reactor). Do you know the formula reading for the 'not-back-mixed' types (ideal TFR and STR) and for the back-mixed type (ideal CSTR) ? - not ?. We can see from these formulas that a plot 1/r(u) versus U offers the possibility to visualize the space time graphically as areas. Do you know which area holds for the TFR/STR-types and which for the CSTR ? - yes or not, look at the graph now!
